Editor/ Producer William Missett has been involved in production and post-production for over 40 years and has a thorough working knowledge of current and past production and post-production techniques. He has served as a consultant in the development of editorial systems and helped to engineer and build facilities. He has an engineering background, is well versed in both non-linear and linear editorial workflows and has experience on a wide variety of equipment and post processes.
He has served as both a creative and online editor at facilities throughout Los Angeles including Laser Pacific Media Corporation, ABC Capital Cities, Nickelodeon, Technicolor, Concept Plus, and is currently working for NBC’s La Brea as a senior VFX artist and in post-production on the psychological thriller, 13 Summers.
Recent completed projects include feature editing on Perfect Messy Love, a romantic comedy, editorial on the award winning film short film, Seven Times, editing and visual effects for the award-winning The Wrong Man, a short film/proof of concept for director James Lingwood, editorial and post consultant Two Blue Lines, a locally produced web series and Time & Place, a Screen Australia web-series project, Designing Empires, a Star Wars parody series due out next year and editorial on the Showdown Project, “That’s Mine” which received an honourable mention at the Berlin Film Festival.
